France has some of the most popular ski resorts in Europe with a great variety for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Resorts are spread over seven different mountain ranges, most notably the Alps. Given this huge veriety of options you should consider your skill level and the type of holiday you want (be it après-ski, family-focused ski schools, proximity of slopes to chalets, etc.) when choosing a resort.
